DIY Siding Vs. Hiring A Contractor

My second blog for Advanced Window Systems. As of 9/30/2020, this blog is ranking fourth on google when searching "DIY siding vs contractor" which is exciting! I wrote the blog and using the keywords, created a meta description, optimized the photos, and used anchor tagging to create links internally. The link to the blog article is here

Double Pane vs. Triple Pane Windows

At Advanced Window Systems I brainstormed topics relating to windows, siding, roofing, and doors and used moz analytics to conduct keyword research. I had to use a keyword that we could rank for within our domain authority so I chose Triple Pane Windows and Double Pane Windows. I wrote the blog and using the keywords, created a meta description, optimized the photos, and used anchor tagging to create links internally. The link to my blog article is here!

Wine in the Woods Event:

I helped Hungerford Nature Center send email blasts, coordinate social media posts, and meet with various wine vendors to create this event. We had wine tastings, food, and lanterns that we released on the pond. Attendance was around 100 people with 13 total local vendors.

Classes/Events Brochure

At Hungerford Nature Center I researched potential organizations such as schools, churches, day cares etc around Connecticut that I thought would be interested in booking our programs. Afterwards, I designed a brochure that showed who we are, what we have to offer, and how to reach us. Lastly, I mailed the brochures to the mailing list I created from my research.

Pumpkin Palooza

At Hungerford Nature Center my task was to advertise our Pumpkin Palooza which is an event where we have Halloween themed trail walks, pumpkin carving contests, and games and activities with prizes. I decided to use Facebook to create a journey that our followers can be a part of leading up to the event. "Hungy the Hungerford Ghost" was a lovable friendly ghost that went around the museum giving updates on our preparations, hanging out with the barnyard animals, and even getting into some trouble along the way. Hungy the Hungerford Ghost had daily updates every day for two weeks leading up to the event. Our followers loved seeing what he was up to and learning more about the event as well!
